Happy Fall, Y’all! 🍁

We hope this message finds you well! We realize there’s been a flurry of updates over the past couple of weeks, and we appreciate everyone keeping up. As we transition in new members to our board, we felt it best to over-communicate all the exciting things happening this month.

Please see all the updates below, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at CambridgeYouthLax@gmail.com.

🐻 Boys Youth Lacrosse Registration is Open!

Spring season is just around the corner! Registration for Cambridge Youth Lacrosse (U8–U12) is now open to returning families through Thanksgiving. After that, we’ll open registration to new families.

This season, roster sizes will be limited to ensure every player gets the best possible experience. Practices are planned to begin January 27th.

🎅 Reindeer Games – Registration Now Open!

We’re excited to announce that Cambridge will be competing in the Reindeer Games, a fun 7v7 tournament held December 6th & 7th! This is a great opportunity for players in grades 2nd to 7th to stay active leading up to the season!

Tournament Details:

  • 📅 Dates: December 6th–7th

  • 📍 Location: 1034 Franklin Gateway SE, Marietta, GA 30067

  • 🧢 Team Name: Cambridge Polar Bears

  • 👔 Manager: Shaun Lux

  • 💰 Cost: $110 per player

  • ⚙️ Format: 7v7, fast-paced, great experience for all players!

We know many players are juggling basketball and other winter sports and hat’s OK! Even if your player can only make part of the weekend, we’d still love to have them join us.

🥍 Equipment Update for 2026 Season

Any new equipment purchases (gloves, elbow pads, etc.) should have a primary color of white. This will help us align with our Cambridge colors.

  • Existing gear in other colors is totally fine — no need to replace what still works!

  • All players are required to have NOCSAE certified shoulder pads. New shoulder pads are NOCSAE certified, older pads will have a NOCSAE stamp on the pads.

  • We’ll be sharing details later this month on how to order Cambridge helmets for those interested in official team gear.

  • Thank you for helping us keep the Bears looking sharp and playing safe!
